Full Re-opening of School March 2021

On Monday 22 February 2021 the Prime Minister announced plans for the full re-opening of schools on 8 March 2021. Please find below communications regarding plans for Formby High School:

Spring Term 1 2021

On Monday 4 January, the Prime Minister announced a national lockdown which included the closure of schools (except for children of critical workers and vulnerable children) and resumption of remote learning for all other students.

In addition, the government asked secondary school’s to establish Covid-19 testing facilities for students and staff at school. Formby High School’s Test Centre is up and running successfully for those currently attending ‘Open School’ and is gearing up to prepare mass testing of all students when plans for reopening schools are announced.
