Data Protection Officer (DPO)
Under the UK Data Protection Act 2018, data controllers are required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to monitor compliance with data protection law and provide expert advice and guidance on data protection. The DPO is the first point of contact for individuals whose data the school processes and for the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
