Formby is a school that firmly believes in the value and importance of school uniform. The Formby High School uniform provides a sense of belonging and identity, and promotes the ethos of our school. It plays an integral part in setting an appropriate tone for education and removes unnecessary peer pressure to wear expensive fashion items. We assume that parents wishing to admit their son or daughter to the school will accept this and ensure that they attend each day in the correct clothing.

2022/23 School Uniform and PE Kit
Please find below links to the uniform and PE kit for 2022/23.
Please be aware that from September 2022, a simplified PE kit is being introduced for Year 7. Students in older year groups will have one year to transition to the new items, or sooner if they so wish.

New PE Kit
For September 2022, we are introducing a new PE kit for our new Year 7 students. Students in older year groups will have one school year to transition to the new kit, sooner if they so wish.
The rationale for introducing the new PE kit is to offer parents a more streamlined, gender neutral and affordable selection of items, whilst retaining the high quality and smart FHS identity. All upper body items (hoodie, polo and zip top) of the new kit will feature FHS branding, whereas all skorts, shorts, leggings and socks will be generic black. When purchasing shorts, please be mindful that they should be suitable for playing a wide range of sports – they should not be fashion shorts (for example, denim or cycling shorts).

If you have any concerns about affordability of uniform or PE kit, please do not hesitate to contact the school as we hold a supply of pre-loved uniforms and PE kit.
