Sefton Local Authority coordinates school admissions and offers on behalf of all schools in Sefton. As an Academy, Formby High School is its own admission authority and determines its own admissions criteria; however, the School has commissioned Sefton Local Authority to administer and apply its admissions criteria on behalf of the Governors for admission to Formby High School.
Admissions for September 2019
The Governing Body of Formby High School decided to increase the school’s Planned Admission Number (PAN) from 166 to 186 with effect from Year 7 in September 2017 and, as a consequence, became a seven form entry school on this date. Admission numbers in other year groups remain unchanged and there have been no changes made to our Admission Arrangements as part of this increase.
Sixth form admissions are dealt with internally, please visit the relevant section of this site to find out more.
