The annual dance showcase, The Groove, took place on 24 January 2024 at The Atkinson Theatre, Southport.  Involving students from across Years 7 to 13, performances took the audience through a journey of dance expression worthy of the professional stage.  Mr Wood, for whom this was his first experience of the event, said “I cannot overstate how proud I was to witness the exceptional talent of our dancers of all ages at this incredible show.  The quality of choreography and production was outstanding.  I knew that Formby High School was renowned for its prowess in the creative arts but this simply blew me away!  Everyone involved should be very, very proud of themselves, as am I.”
