Year 11 completed their latest round of Pre-Public Examinations in January and approached them with great maturity.  We are confident that if they continue with this tremendous work ethic through to the finish line in summer, they will have much to celebrate on results day!  Later in the month, every student in Year 11 had the opportunity to have a practice interview with a visiting professional who will provide advice and guidance on their application, interview performance and pointers for success. These practice interviews, which took place over two days on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 January, would not be possible without the time donated by our volunteers from a vast array of professions.  This event is part of our Careers Education that helps to prepare students for life beyond school.  The next date on the calendar will be our Careers Fair in March – open to all years.  If you are a professional and would like to offer your support to these important activities to benefit our students, please contact [email protected].

In March Year 10 and Year 12 students will also spend a week at work placements as part of their work experience / career experience week to give them valuable  experience in the world of work and a first hand insight into potential future careers.
