MONDAY 3 – FRIDAY 7 APRIL and MONDAY 10 – THURSDAY 13 APRIL
This year’s GCSE examination season is just around the corner and all our students should be well on their way with their preparation and revision. Easter is the perfect opportunity for all Year 11 students to get ahead and continue their GCSE preparations so with the help and support of their class teachers, we will be running sessions throughout the holidays to ensure that our students are ready and prepared.
Your teachers will be available to support you with study and revision skills and help you to understand topics that you may be struggling with. There will be opportunities to practise your examination technique and complete questions which will help to prepare you for the summer. Your teachers will provide support and advice on how to answer a range of questions and help you understand key terminology which may appear in the examinations. There will also be opportunities to use facilities to complete coursework tasks and work quietly to complete any additional work. Students will also be able to gain support in preparing revision timetables, how to cope with examination pressure and establishing the best methods of revising difficult topics.
Sessions will take place in morning and afternoon blocks, running between 9am – 12pm and 1pm and 3pm.
What to do next?
Ensure you have signed up so that your teachers are aware that you will be attending on the day. Please find below a copy of the information letter provided to parents which features the programme for Easter School.
