Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir

We are delighted to announce the return of the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir to Formby High School on 17 October to perform a dazzling concert alongside our very own ‘Mundo Afrika’, ‘FHS Singers’ and ‘G:Force’ Community Gospel Choir.  The Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir is a UK-based charity whose aim is to further education and help relieve poverty in Uganda. In particular, they support the ‘Molly and Paul Childcare Foundation’, an organisation established in 1983 to build homes and schools for orphaned and destitute children. Children from these schools sing and dance in the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir and make regular visits to the UK to raise awareness and the desperately required funds to help sustain and improve the standard of education, healthcare and living conditions in their schools.

Tickets are on sale from the school and cost only £6.00 or £12.00 with supper included. All payments can be made via Parent Pay now by adding the ‘Pearl of Africa’ event to your basket before proceeding. All proceeds from ticket sales are donated directly to the charity.
