Geneva Visit

20 students from across Years 11 to 13 recently returned from a three day Science/RAVE cultural visit to Geneva. The action packed itinerary gave them a flavour of the Swiss culture whilst having the opportunity to visit CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research). Students also visited the museums of Natural History and History & Science, and had tours of the UN Palace of Nations and Geneva’s botanical gardens. Naturally, they experienced a ‘fondue night’ at the Edelweiss restaurant and even squeezed in a cruise on Lake Geneva! Mr Belford said that the students were a credit to themselves and the school and, despite an inordinate amount of miles walked, fully embraced and enjoyed the experience Geneva offered.
