Year 13 Drama students have been delighting audiences this week with three nights of their ‘final performances’ at the school with an exceptional production of William Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. The production transports audiences from the court of Duke Theseus to a magical forest where fairies, young lovers and simple workmen mingle in a night of Midsummer mayhem and chaos. A place where everything is transformed and things are not as they first appear.
As always, the quality of performance and creativity on display is simply outstanding. The departing Year 13 students have made a real statement about the skills they have acquired at the school and we couldn’t be more proud of them. They will certainly go on to great things and we all look forward to hearing of their future successes.
Well done to everyone involved in the production (including Tech Crew, supporting cast members, staff and set design/production).
Tickets are still available for tonight’s final performance at 7pm!
