A Level Art Exhibition

The Art Department was bursting with pride and colour as it opened its doors last week for the annual A Level Art Exhibition. Earlier the same day, the work developed by our talented Year 13 students was moderated by an external examiner as part of their overall A Level assessment. On leaving, the he commented to the Headteacher that the work was some of the most outstanding he had seen in his 28 years of moderation. This comment not only highlighted some individual pieces but the breadth and scope of quality on display across the whole cohort portfolio. Mr Collins and Mrs Clark spent the afternoon proudly discussing the artwork with visiting parents and staff and said they were “hugely proud of the students’ achievements this year and have very high hopes for excellent outcomes in the summer.”
