On Thursday 9 June 2016, 15 Year 10 students spent the day at St. Peter’s College, Oxford University. The trip, which was designed to get students thinking about their options for the future, enabled them to take part in a range of activities including an academic session on language and a tour of the college. The students found the visit very informative, inspiring them to set their sights high. Maddie Hall said, “I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Oxford and found it a great opportunity to experience university life and start to consider my options for the future.”
Lucy Dixon, Schools Liaison Officer for St. Peter’s College, commented that the students were a credit to the school – she was particularly impressed by how engaged they were and how well they worked together.
