Once again FHS is coming together to support the World Down Syndrome Day 2017 through ‘Odd Socks Day’, to raise awareness and support. Staff and students throughout the school are sporting their brightest odd socks – a fabulous visual way to shout their support for this important awareness campaign. The aim of the campaign being held throughout the world today is to ensure the voice of people with Down Syndrome, and those who work and live with them, grows louder. By understanding the issues those with Down Syndrome face in everyday life, and recognising the steps people can take to help them realise their full potential, a real difference can be made to enrich the lives of those with the condition.
