SCHOOL OF THE WEEK!

SOCIAL SCHOOL AWARDS – the Social School Awards are designed to recognise those making waves in teaching and learning, and celebrate their achievements. Every week, we see so many inspiring posts from students, teachers and educational bloggers sharing their incredible work in classrooms and beyond.

SCHOOL OF THE WEEK

The Social School Awards School of the Week award aims to celebrate those schools finding new and exciting ways to encourage learning. This could be through a school trip, engaging in a school-wide project, fundraising or pulling off a performance or event. It could even be something as simple as making changes to students’ learning environment to boost motivation and increase productivity.

This week follows schools that are continuing to learn and study from home, whilst a small number of children will continue their studies in school. We have selected some of our favourite posts shared by schools this week, demonstrating their positive and creative approach to pieces of work.

THIS WEEK’S WINNER IS…

Formby High School (@FormbyHigh), who have been sharing lots of brilliant work on Twitter. In response to this year’s difficult transition for new starters, Formby High have created a transition page on their website with lots of wonderful videos, information and an opportunity to meet the tutors. The school have also been hosting their very own Visual Arts Festival over on their YouTube channel – well done to everyone involved!
